My Story

Welcome, and thank you for visiting. I’m Joe Post, a Product Manager and UX Leader based in Grand Rapids, MI.

Currently, I lead digital transformations for clients that are changing the world. My engagements encompass a blend of digital strategy, consumer experience (CX), internal operations, and digital business models. I assist leadership teams in reshaping their approach to work by harnessing the potential of the digital landscape.

I have had the honor of working with industry-leading organizations across a multitude of industries. What unites them is a profound commitment to their mission and a drive to create positive change. My clients span varied industries, including Art, Culture, and Entertainment, Professional Trade and Member Associations, and Enterprise E-commerce (B2B/B2C/DTC).

As a design leader, I bring vision, a culture of accountability, collaboration, and harmony to design teams. In leading teams, a crystalline vision acts as a compass, guiding each team member’s role in crafting a shared future. In practical terms, this translates to establishing shared design principles and maintaining a robust commitment to Design Ops. Empowering designers to produce high quality work in work environments that value user experience design.

A note about this site:
In recognition of the collaborative nature of design, many of the successes shared on this website are written as “we” and not “me.” In building and leading teams for over a decade, I have worked with many extremely talented people.  Designers, developers, project managers, QA specialists, analytics engineers, and stakeholders, to name a few. I truly believe that no accomplishment or case study mentioned on this site would be possible without the support and commitment of many talented people working toward a shared goal.

Lastly, this site was created to support my goal of becoming an Optimizely MVP. To that end, the blog is “the work.” I was first recognized as an Optimizely MVP in 2021, and in 2023 I was awarded the additional accolade of “Platinum Optimizely MVP.”
